«After a six-month journey, my experience in the U.S. comes to an end. Despite some challenges along the way, this has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. As a visiting scholar at the University of South Florida, I deepened my understanding of my field and broadened my academic perspective. Immersing myself in American culture (through theatre, music, museums, sports, and gastronomy, etc) while sharing my own culture was one of the highlights of this experience. Exploring natural landscapes and visiting other states also helped me better understand the diversity that exists across the U.S. The connections I built along the way made this journey even more special. As I leave, I am reminded that experiences like this never truly stay behind, ‘you can never ever leave, without leaving a piece of you’.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and for the lasting impact it has had on my life and career.»

Thank you, Nádia, and welcome home!
