«Looking back on my Fulbright experience at the University of Maryland, what stands out most is how much it expanded my understanding of academic life, research, and collaboration. During this period, I was able to engage with new approaches to leadership and to deepen my knowledge of research theories and practices in ways that will continue to influence my work.
The lab became an especially important space for me. More than a place of study and investigation, it was a community where collaboration happened naturally and where professional relationships grew into genuine friendships. Being surrounded by generous and supportive colleagues made the experience richer, more human, and deeply memorable.

Life at UMD also left a strong impression on me. Living in College Park and being part of such a large campus was unlike anything I had experienced before. Every day brought new perspectives and a sense of being part of a dynamic academic community.

I also had the privilege of meeting people from different cultures, and I was consistently touched by how welcoming and kind they were. That openness made my time in Maryland not only academically valuable, but also personally meaningful.
This experience gave me knowledge, friendships, confidence, and memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am truly thankful to Fulbright for making this experience possible.»
