Ao abrigo de uma Bolsa Fulbright para Investigação com o apoio da FCT e no âmbito do seu doutoramento em ‘Biology’ da Nova FCT e do Politécnico de Leiria, Ana Isabel Roque encontra-se a desenvolver parte da sua pesquisa sobre “celiac disease’s autoimmunity mechanisms possibly mediated by bacteria” na Harvard Medical School, MA, EUA:
