Tristan Montgomery is a recent graduate from Emory University, where he was a Questbridge student studying Spanish, Portuguese, and Linguistics. He has engaged in many cross-cultural works throughout his time studying at Emory, including being an assistant teacher of English and Spanish, studying abroad in Spain, volunteering as a TED translator, and completing research projects on the lusophone world and linguistics. He is an aspiring translator/interpreter who is ecstatic to learn more about Portuguese culture at the Universidade de Aveiro and contribute to English teaching at their Departamento de Línguas e Cultura en route to completing a master’s in specialized translation there.
