Stephen Crocker is an alumnus of Brown University with a B.A. in Modern Culture and Media and A.M. in Documentary Production and Practice, he is working towards a Masters of Social Work from Boston University (expected 2025). As a social worker, a filmmaker and a person in long-term recovery for over 20 years, Stephen is grateful for the opportunity to unite his personal interests and professional skills in a project that explores the lived experience of the people most affected by Portugal’s groundbreaking drug and harm reduction policies: people who use drugs, people in recovery, people who work in harm reduction and their families.
