Bushra Rahman is a 2023-2024 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS). She graduated from Emory University in 2022 with a B.S. in Anthropology & Human Biology, as well as a second major in Spanish & Portuguese. She has been a lifelong learner of languages and fell in love with Portuguese upon her first class at Emory. She looks forward to furthering her skills in the language, experiencing the vibrancy of Leiria, and better understanding the landscape of healthcare in Portugal, with professional aspirations in the field.
