Alvin Synarong
Alvin Synarong is an English Teaching Assistant with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s (Porto) School of Education and Psychology. He earned a B.A. in Spanish and Portuguese with a minor in Latin American Studies (Brazil) from Princeton University. After spending time in Brazil, doing independent research on Macau, and taking a course on Portuguese-speaking Africa, he sought to continue immersing himself in the Lusophone world, namely Portugal. Alvin is excited to utilize Portuguese daily, engage with university students, and explore the local cuisine and culture of Porto and Portugal as a whole.
