Gabriel DeSantis will be conducting research under Dr. Sara Oliveira at the Iberian International Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga. His project will focus on designing a bioprinted multimaterial model to optimize the texture and nutritional profiles of cultivated meat constructs. Gabriel recently graduated with a Masters in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Mathematics and has been working part-time with Philadelphia-based bioprinting company Allevi.
