Leonor Melo Ribeiro is a Technology Law & Policy LL.M. candidate at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where she aims to become part of a new generation of legal professionals capable of understanding new technologies in depth and the legal and ethical challenges they pose. Supported by the Fulbright Commission, Leonor will have the opportunity to explore how to harness the full potential of emerging technologies and the promotion of innovation, while mitigating the inherent risks new technologies pose to human rights. With the knowledge and expertise acquired during this graduate program, Leonor is determined to advise, support, and lead organizations and government bodies in navigating the complexities of the digital and technological economy.
