Camila is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at Nova University of Lisbon, where she also earned her master’s degree in Political Philosophy. She was awarded a PhD scholarship by FCT to develop the doctoral project “The Perspective of Care – Toward a Feminist Epistemology of Work”. Committed to the production of world-directed thought, her research is developed at the intersection of social epistemology, feminist studies, philosophy of language and Wittgensteinian philosophy. With the support of the Fulbright Commission, she will now undertake a visiting scholar appointment at the New School of Social Research in New York, where she will have the chance to work in a department that is specifically dedicated to the social and practical dimensions of philosophy.
