Patrícia Reina

Patrícia Reina, as a Ph.D. Candidate in Materialities of Literature, aims to better understand how the dynamics between the various blank typographical spaces in the textual field affect the literary meaning production, using some of the artist’s books conceived by the American artist and scholar Johanna Drucker. At RIT, under Dr. Anne Royston’s supervision, Patrícia will work on the hypothesis of recursiveness between the typographic spaces of the physical book and the digital horizon of text production and reception. She will also analyze the rare books that make up the artist’s corpus in person.
