Fábio Costa

Fábio Costa is a Ph.D student at the University of Porto, where his research is focused on the development of organic salts (GUMBOS) and nanoGUMBOS for analytical applications as pH sensors and pharmaceutical strategies to help in the fight against the antimicrobial resistance global threat. During his stay at the Louisiana State University, he will have the opportunity to work with a research team with expertise on the synthesis of these compounds and their nano-counterparts for novel biomedical applications and bioanalytical measurements.
