Traci Lew has served as the Associate Director for Cal Poly Pomona Office of Admissions since 2012, with a particular focus on international admissions and recruitment. In this role, she has helped to establish strategic initiatives for international education at the University and create partnerships and pipelines with institutions and language programs abroad. Prior to joining the international team, Traci served as the Senior Coordinator of Orientation Services, planning and coordinating new student transition programs for Cal Poly Pomona. Traci has a love for California public higher education, having been a graduate of the University of California, Riverside and having worked in both the UC and California State University systems!

Assistant Provost, Strategic Initiatives & International Recruitment
Jun Wang was appointed Assistant Provost, Strategic Initiatives and International Recruitment on July 1, 2019. In this role, he works closely with the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor to provide leadership and thoughtful direction for all of UCR’s short- and long-range strategic activities that raise the university’s profile and ranking in the local, national, and international marketplace. Jun oversees international student recruitment strategies for the university, and develops strategies for engagement with peer educational institutions in the U.S. and abroad to establish partnerships and recruitment pipelines. He is also responsible for the planning and implementation of programs and projects that strategically engage UCR’s international alumni, and other campus-wide international initiatives and related activities.

As an Educational Advisor and DSO at PCC, Michael is the International Student Center recruitment and communication lead. He has his Bachelor’s in International Studies – Political Science from UC San Diego and his Master’s of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Southern California. Over the years, Michael has spent time living in Bangkok, Thailand; Taipei, Taiwan; and Managua, Nicaragua. In his free time, he likes to cook new recipes from all over the world and travel to new places.
