Marco Barcenas-Consuelo
My name is Marco Barcenas-Consuelo and I studied Cognitive Science and Linguistics at the University of Richmond. During my time there I conducted socio-linguistic research on generational change in Spanish in the US. Additionally, I spent a year abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil taking courses at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. I look forward to using my Portuguese to connect with the community. In the future, I plan to work as a Speech Language Pathologist with Portuguese-speaking communities and immigrant patients.
