Stephen DesJardins
Stephen L. DesJardins is the Marvin W. Peterson Collegiate Professor of Education at the University of Michigan. He teaches courses related to public policy in postsecondary education finance, statistical methods, and institutional research. His research interests include student transitions from high school to college, what happens to students once they enroll in college, and applying statistical techniques to the study of these issues. Current projects include examining the factors related to and timing of student loan default and a number of evaluations of the effects of state policies on higher education outcomes.
