Elizabeth Crawford
Elizabeth Crawford is Professor of Music Performance at Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana. A proponent of music for E-flat clarinet, Elizabeth has commissioned several works for the instrument. Her CD of American music, Instant Winners, was released on Albany Records in Fall 2018, while a forthcoming CD will showcase music from around the world. She was awarded a Fulbright to the Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, where she will share her expertise on the E-flat beginning in March 2022. Elizabeth recently won the Dean’s Creative Endeavor Award of the College of Fine Arts for her research into the E-flat clarinet.
