Pedro Sousa is a PhD student in Agricultural Sciences at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, developing his project at GreenUPorto – Sustainable Agrifood Production Research Centre and at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. With a keen interest in the areas of sensory analysis and consumer sciences, his research aims to evaluate and develop advanced methodologies for assessing consumer perception of innovative and novel foods. As a Visiting Student Researcher at the University of Arkansas, he will join Professor Han-Seok Seo’s team and conduct his research on how food-evoked emotions influence consumer behaviors, particularly in terms of eating and purchasing behaviors.
