Daniela Trindade
Daniela Trindade is a Biomedical Sciences PhD student at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto. Her research focuses on the development of a minimally invasive treatment for temporomandibular joint disc regeneration, through the production of an injectable hydrogel obtained from decellularized ovine discs. In collaboration with Professor Jason Burdick’s group at the University of Colorado Boulder, she plans to study the formulation of the injectable hydrogel, by improving its mechanical and biological properties.
