Bernardo Bagulho
Bernardo Bagulho is a designer and artist, born in 1995, in the city of Évora. He has a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from the University of Évora and the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto. He also attended an Illustration program at the EINA Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2022, he made the Continuing Education Program, Illustration Summer Residency, at the School of Visual Arts, U.S. Bernardo has collaborated with national and international publications, with a greater focus on developing graphic projects and carrying out work in the areas of illustration, product design, printing techniques and animation. His affinity with the region and imagery of the Alentejo is undeniable. He has worked the image of local cultural activities, “Pedras Rolantes”, public art, or the Évora International Puppet Biennial, which are some of the most notable projects. His collaborations include also The New York Times, Okavango | Wilderness Project, National Geographic, Wildbird Trust, La Maleta de Portnou magazine, Sem Termo Filmes, Cendrev – Teatro Garcia de Resende, Instituto Camões, Arizona State University, SVA, among others. Bernardo will be doing his Master of Fine Arts at SVA, in the city of New York.
