Diana Cunha is a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in Analytical Chemistry at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. Her PhD project is focused on the development of analytical strategies for the evaluation of biopharmaceuticals, targeting their characterization and quality control. As a Visiting Student Researcher in Prof. Anderson’s Research Group, Department of Chemistry at the Iowa State University of Science and Technology, she plans to study the conditions that would be required to have monoclonal antibodies purification using magnetic ionic liquids, as a green, sustainable, and cost-effective solution.
