Daniel Oliveira
Daniel is a Ph.D. student enrolled in the doctoral program in Electronics and Computers Engineering under the umbrella of the Algoritmi Center at the University of Minho. His research project aims at materializing the uTango infrastructure, a novel multi-world Trusted Execution Environment specifically tailored for mixed-criticality systems and low-end IoT-based devices. At Boston University, Daniel will join Prof Renato Mancuso’s research group; their vast experience in real-time and embedded systems and multi-core resource management technologies will be essential to the success of Daniel’s Ph.D. project. His goal is to study the reciprocal interference generated by the contention of shared computational resources in low-end multi-core microcontrollers and develop a predictable management framework to be integrated with the uTango TEE.
