Ana Margarida is a PhD student at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute, School of Medicine, University of Minho. Under the scope of her PhD research, Ana Margarida is interested in primary auditory cortex dysfunction at behavioral and functional levels in an autism spectrum disorder mouse model. As a visiting student researcher at Harvard Medical School, Ana Margarida will have the opportunity to improve her research skills and benefit from the knowledge of experts in the field of developmental neurocognition, studying the atypical development of autism spectrum disorder, and searching for trajectories to autism and the identification of autism using Near-infrared spectroscopy.
