Pedro Lavrador is currently on the third year of his Ph.D., where he is focusing on designing chemo and biodynamic hydrogels engineered towards advanced multifunctional platforms. His scientific background includes nanotechnology, biomaterials design, stimuli-responsiveness, cell bioengineering and interweaving these principles in their hybrid combinations. During his time at the BioFrontiers Institute, he will be conducting research on developing sophisticated tissue engineering platforms built with living adaptiveness and embedded with dynamic features.
