Emily believes Martin Wight’s description of “international revolutions” can help us better understand international relations today. Taking the United States as a case study, her goal is to develop “Wightian power transitions” (those with doctrinal/ideological overtones to them) to test whether we are undergoing a “Wightian power shift”.
