The Católica.Porto School of Economics and Management offers Master Programmes designed to train specialists in a wide range of areas such as Finance, Marketing, Service Management and Social Economics.
The Master’s Degrees offered by the School of Economics and Management of the Catholic University in Portugal are recognized programmes due to the excellence of their teaching, scientific accuracy and easy integration of their graduates in the labour market. Our programmes are on a level with the best international schools and have the participation of highly renowned teachers, Portuguese and foreign.
We invest in the development of our students’ knowledge and skills. Who can apply?

Graduates from different scientific areas may submit their application for the FEG’s Master’s Degree programs. FEG (School of Economics and Management) offers basic intensive preparation economics and management courses the weeks prior to the beginning of classes. Applications for FEG’s Master’s Degree programs are permanently open. Vacancies for each program are filled in the order applications arrive and in the manner the minimal admission requisites are fulfilled. At this point, a vacancy is opened to the candidate.

  •    Sound and Image


The School of Arts is one of the youngest Campus in the Catholic University of Porto. Emerging from an enduring interest on culture and a permanent desire to promote the development of the Country’s northern region in a National and European context, the School of Arts is a ground-breaking proposal in the Portuguese Academia, which approaches Art Studies trough a contemporary and creative perspective that until now has not been sufficiently addressed by National Universities.
Created in 1997, the School of Arts expanded the scope of the Catholic University’s degrees, by introducing Undergraduate, Master and Doctorate programs in: Art and Heritage Studies, Art Conservation and Restoration, Music and Sound and Image.
The Master degree in Sound and Image is a 2 year cycle of studies comprising 120 ECTS. During this cycle, students must attend to classes, seminars, undertake a major project, a guided internship and finally develop a dissertation of scientific nature depending on the fields of study.
Since the academic year of 2006/2007, the master degree in sound and image is structured in four specialization areas:
