- Fulbright / Instituto Camões Student Research Program:
Mr. Benjamin Breen
PhD Student in History at the University of Texas.
Field of study: History.
Project: research on “Cure from New Worlds: Nature, Science & Drugs in the Portuguese Tropics” at the New University of Lisbon School of Sciences and Technology and at the University of Lisbon Institute of Social Sciences.
Duration of Grant: 8 months, starting in October 2011.
- Fulbright Student Research Program:
Mr. David Emmerman
BA in Political Science & Environmental Studies, Amherst College.
Field of study: Political Science.
Project: research on “Renewable Energy Policy Design: The Portuguese National Energy Strategy” at the University of Beira Interior Department of Economics.
Duration of Grant: 8 months, starting in October 2011.
- English Teaching Assistants (ETA) 2011/2012:
Ms. Stephanie Almeida
BA in English and Politics, Pomona College.
Project: English Teaching Assistant at the School of Letters of the University of Lisbon; Assistant at the Fulbright Information Center.
Duration of Grant: 9 months, starting in October 2011.
Mr. Paolo Busante
Ms Student in Elementary Education at the College of William and Mary.
Project: English Teaching Assistant at the University of Minho.
Duration of Grant: 9 months, starting in October 2011.
Ms. Kristen Smith
MEd in Curriculum & Instruction, Chapman University; BA in Liberal Studies, Westmont College
Project: English Teaching Assistant at ISCTE - IUL.
Duration of Grant: 9 months, starting in October 2011.
